During summertime, you can marvel at the abundance of flowers in Coo and the lush greenery of the forests around you. Also there are many activities to do and cultural events to attend. After summer you will be in awe over the colours and scents of the woods in autumn. Come to hear the bellowing of the dear and enjoy a delicious game dish in the restaurant on the ground floor. Last but not least, the stunning snow covered hillsides and impressive waterfalls in winter, will take your breath away.

Hiking & cycling routes in abundance.

In the direct vicinity you can, ofcourse, wine & dine on our large and sunny terrace and the cosy restaurant Le Baron has to offer. Make your choice out of its fantastic menu following the seasons. But there are also many hiking and cycling routes through the hillsides, starting from your doorstep. Many of them are well signposted. Be sure to wear good shoes and take something to drink with you. Especially when you go for a long tour. At 500 meters from your apartment, alongside of the lake is a 5 km path that is flat. Activities in the close vicinity of Coo.

Many sportive activities can be done in the region. For example: hiking, cycling, mountain biking, fishing, bowling, canoeing, golf, horse riding, tennis, skiing, sledging, karting, paragliding and more. In addition, there are great ski slopes in the near vicinity: Wanne 5 km, Barack Michel 20 km, Botrange 20 km, Lierneux 15 km, Barack Fraitûre 20 km. Both skiing and cross country skiing are possible.

Furthermore there are many museums, castles, abbeys, breweries and caves to be visited. And during the summer season there is a whole range of cultural events. The tourist agencies in Stavelot and Malmedy have a wide arrange of folders and books on the region. The Circuit of Spa-Francorchamps

The famous racing circuit of Spa-Francorchamps is at 13 km distance from your apartment. Easy to be reached through Stavelot or via Moulin de Ruy by car. The agenda of the Circuit of Spa-Francorchamps is full of events from March to November. There is often free access, including on race days, and organized guided tours are available. You will walk around the entire site for a few hours and receive explanations on the circuit. Meanwhile you will see all the important places, such as the stage, the pit lane, the comment booths and much more. The Formula 1 is undoubtedly one of the largest and most popular sporting events in Belgium. It will not leave you untouched!

The Museum of the Circuit in the Abbey of Stavelot not only illustrates the past, but also the present: prestigious cars and motorbikes, as well as numerous documents and photos are displayed. It is a unique museum that you must visit.
